Lori worked for our family taking care of three children aged 3,6 and 7, from July until November 2016. Her role was live-in. We found Lori to be very helpful, caring, reliable and sweet with the children - always with a smile on her face. She was able to hold the attention of each child, creating interesting games for them, even though there was a language barrier it didnt get in the way. Even though most of my experience is childcare based I have gained many skills that are transferable including excellent communication skills, dealing with customers and providing the best service possible for everyone, being able to work positively in a team or alone and excellent ict skills. I have also been volunteering for girlguiding scotland on and off since 2010 and in October last year began to work towards my adult leader qualification (hopefully, I will complete it by September) and working towards my archery qualification to become a fully qualified archery instructor for girlguiding. Through volunteering with girlguiding, I have gained and improved on various valuable skills such as teamwork and leadership, organisational and budgeting skills.
