Recent university graduate with teaching experience offering support.
My name is Evan, and I want to support you and your child! I hold a degree in Biomechanics from the University of Calgary and am preparing for Medical School. I have conducted academic research aimed at improving our understanding of recovery trajectories following stroke. Mathematics, Statistics, English, Mechanical Engineering, Biological Materials, Physiology, Anatomy, and Political Science contribute to my 3.96GPA. I can provide a copy of my transcript if interested.
At Connecting Dots Inc., I worked with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and psychologists to provide an in-home holistic approach to behavioral intervention for children and families requiring support. At Hull Services, I worked alongside psychologists and social workers to provide a trauma-informed approach to care and treatment for youth aged 4-12. I have tutored high-school math, physics, biology, and chemistry, and have instructed marching bands with students aged 12-21. I also hold a TESOL certification.
I spend my free time reading, writing, climbing, and hiking. Let me know if you have any questions, and we can set up a time to chat!
