Cat Sitters in Edmonton

| I graduated from NAIT as a veterinary medical assistant in 2015. I also have experience working at a veterinary clinic and at a dog daycare. I love animals and my two dogs are my children. I am looking to become an in-home dog or cat sitter. I would be able to come to your home and feed them, give them oral medications, and take them for walks during the day. | I grew up on a farm in rural BC and have always had pets. Over the years, I learned extensive animal care methods from my family and veterinarian. I worked for a summer as a veterinary assistant while majoring in neuroscience. During university, I managed a pet supply store, which taught me more about proper nutrition and special dietary requirements. I adopted 4 cats during that time, three of whom are now 17. Due to their medical issues (2 insulin-dependent diabetic, one with CHF and on pills, and one who had food allergies and a thyroid condition), I learned how difficult it can be to find a pet sitter who is willing and adept at giving medications to cats. I have been doing it for years and am very comfortable with the process, so I figured I would make my services available to people who would like to go on holidays without worrying about their cat's feeding, water, litter, and medications. I would do this with in-home visits as I don't want to stress out my cats or those of others. I am in northwest Edmonton, and I would love to help people out.

| Hey fur lovers!! Hope you and your fur babies are all doing great. Few years back, I was really really scared of cats because I had never been around them and once my best friend adopted one, my love for cats just grew. And now I’m a proud mama of a fur baby, she’s a little over a year old and I love her dearly. Since having her I overcame all my fear with cats and actually figured out how not scary they are haha. I have never really cat- sit anyone’s cat except my cousins cat, whenever she goes for a trip here and there, I am her cat trusty cat sitter and plus my cat( Luna) loves her cat a ton so it works out. Other than that, I have only worked in retail and have a lot of customer service experience. Currently working at my favourite place rec room.
