Hello! My name is Karena and though I have never sought employment in senior care, I have volunteered at a care facility for four summers and at a rehabilitation hospital for a semester. I was also a caretaker for my late grandfather for almost 10 years. My grandparents were incredibly influential in my life, and because of them, I have a permanent place in my heart for older adults. I have experience with feeding, assisting with mobility, recreation, companionship, and other general day to day tasks that seniors may need assistance with. I graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Physical Education and Bachelor of Education. My passion, career wise is, in education and recreation. That being said, I am looking to fill my open time with senior care.
