Hi there! My name's Serena and I'm a College Graduate and Dean’s Honour Roll recipient of the Early Childhood Education program here in Ottawa. I have over 7 years’ experience working with children of all ages from 0.5 to 12 years old. Along with my various experience, I'm also registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. My most recent job experience includes working at Andrew Fleck Children's Services, teaching 24 preschoolers. I would use the children’s interests to do an array of activities such as science experiments, gross motor games, and guided free time to expand upon children's natural curiosity to keep them interested and engaged while learning through play. My biggest goals when working with children is to help them become self-motivated, gain self-esteem/awareness, enrich their vocabulary, learn to love learning, and, obviously, to have fun! I'm looking for part-time nannying and babysitting positions. I teach preschool during the day, 9-5, so I'm free anytime after that on weekdays and any time on weekends.
