Hi! I'm Katelyn. I moved to Ottawa from New Brunswick about 4 years ago. Pre-Covid I worked as an instructor for lunch/after school programs and animator for birthday parties and special events. In the summer I often worked at my company's summer camps, so there is a good chance your child has already met me through Mad Science! I respect that different families work in different ways and that parents develop their own parenting styles. My goal as a caregiver is to continue to model and reinforce your parenting choices to ensure your children are safe and allowed to have fun. Some of my hobbies include reading everything I can get my hands on, cooking, baking, singing (poorly!), watching cool science videos, trying new foods and experiences and taking care of my cats. I will be available to start November 1, due to the fact that I am having surgery soon that will require I not lift anything for a few weeks.
