I was a housekeeper at Weston Park for five years. This is a five star stately home that holds events on a weekly basis. The house had 28 bedrooms with en suites. There is also four holiday lets on the grounds. Along with hoovering, dusting, replenishing and making the rooms perfect for the next guests, we also did the laundry (excluding towels and linen as they were sent off). As well as the general cleaning like mopping and hoovering, the brass and the windows were cleaned daily. The team was also in charge of maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, which included the deli, the restaurant, the gallery, the school, the offices and so on.
