S is 1-year-old, will be two in August. He loves to climb, get into whatever he can - energetic! He's friendly and warms up quickly, even if shy at first. He LOVES TO EAT!
G is still breastfeeding, is attached to mom, and will need more care as he gets older. We may need him on a bottle once in a while to stay with a caregiver. We plan to introduce food when he is about 6 months old, in June.
Mom and dad work from home. Need extra support, and once in a while we will need care for them while we are gone, or may want their caregiver to take them to the park for an hour or so, weather permitted. Our ideal caregiver: She loves babies and all ages. She can learn on the job, but bottle feeding and diaper changing experience (either prior experience or willingness to learn) is a must.
Willing to learn and honor parenting preferences (with discipline, scheduling, and so on).
She's comfortable caring for children with parents who work from home present, as well as on her own.
She feels safe and comfortable transporting children (and is a safe driver!) as long as proper car seats are arranged by parents (in parents' car, or her own - if fairly compensated).
She is available on an as-needed basis, or can schedule care once in a while (from 2-6 hours at a time).
BONUS: She is open to, and available to, transition into a more full-time nanny role (about 30 hours a week, 5 or 6 days a week - schedule and hours can be negotiated). Additional needs include pick up / drop off, light housekeeping, meal prep, having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. Looking for a caregiver for my infant son and 1-year-old son. Flexible start date. My schedule may vary.
