We're looking for some general help each morning. A typical day would be getting the kids ready for daycare, dropping them off, then some general tidying of the house (maybe a load of laundry or two per week), and finally taking our dog for a walk. Our kids are 2 and 4, and are craving some structure to their mornings. Given how early we have to start work, mornings are always a bit hectic and rushed, so we'd love to find some help and have mornings be a fun and relaxing part of the day for everyone! We live in Louisville and have two relatively high energy dogs. This is a part-time dog sitting and walking position. The candidate will take the dogs each morning to the local dog park for 15 minutes. Walk dogs individually, and ensure that they are cared for from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Occasionally we may ask you to dog sit at our house (overnight) for up to 1 week at a time. Good communication skills both written and verbal are a must. Must love dogs and be able to work through each dogs' quirks. Winston is a 7-year-old German Short-haired Pointer. He's a cuddler and loves to be active. His biggest negative behavior attributes are that he barks at the doorbell. Bugsy is a 2-year-old, wirehair pointing griffon. He is heartworm positive, so can't be too active. He still regularly needs exercise from walks or short stints in the park.
