My husband and I are professionals looking for a household assistant for approximately 10-15 hours per week (this may vary)- we need help with light cleaning (dishes, picking up little things, vacuum, taking trash to curb, swiffer, etc - we have a monthly housekeeper so no serious cleaning), laundry, grocery shopping, making appointments (hair, reservations, etc.), and meal prep (simple meals). The hours will be flexible as we travel often. We do not have any kids or pets and live in a home in winter park. My husband works in real estate and I work full time from home in marketing. Limited housework and yardwork throughout the day and television. Makes her own lunch and dinner but could use assistance with preparing hot meals. Bedtime about 7:00. Showers on her own and watches TV in bed until going to sleep between 8:00 and 9:00. Needs assistance with pills as she takes 2 prescriptions and 6 supplements per day. Friendly and happy. About the care needs: No special skills necessary besides patience and compassion. My moms memory is poor and she will ask the same questions repeatedly. She would really enjoy the companionship of someone with a good heart for conversation, help around the house and possibly infrequent errands and appointments.
