Hello all! We are looking for help with our brother who has moved to Valley Center from No. Cal. Please note we only need 4-5 hours of help a week. Our ideal assistant has own transportation, willing to transport my brother for his errands for now, he is getting his own car in mid June (local grocery store and rite aid for prescription refills) must be comfortable with cats and familiar with meds. Need help to keep clean an RV clean (sweeping, cat litter, dishes and taking out trash etc..), light cooking, help prepare baths and occasional doc appt. s He suffers from back pain and short term memory loss (need a uplifting and positive person who can help if he is having a bad day with pain to deal and distract) he also has long term Lyme disease symptoms. About who needs care: Two parents. One with advanced dementia, the other with diabetic neuropathy limiting mobility and ability. About the care needs: These are very sweet people with a dog and two cats who live on an old avocado farm. The wife needs assistance with toileting, and the husband needs help with mobility issues. Some light cooking, housekeeping. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: My grandma has mild dementia and lower back pain. She like to walk outside and look at plants. She likes to watch TV. She need frequent reminders to drink water and eat. She does not cook. Me and my grandpa just need a little break though out the day. Currently in Valley Center now for about 1 month. We are in process of moving to Tucson. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
