About who needs care: She has Lewy Body Dementia. My Mom has a hard time communicating and expressing herself. She does not drive she also gets bored during the day and needs some socialization. She has a tendency to wander from the boredom which is a safety concern. My Mom also does not cook for herself. She does have good hygiene and showers daily.
About the care needs: Someone who is patient and understanding would be a good fit. Someone who can be patient with trying to comphrehend what my Mom is trying to say and can keep her occupied.
Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Preference for a caregiver who is female.
