About who needs care: CHF, Peripheral Artery disease. Uses O2 and walker but needs assistance getting up to bathroom, bed and in recliner. May have slight bladder incontinence (rarely)but wears pull-up briefs. Petite weighs 87lbs, limited mobility due to PAD. Must sit most of time in recliner legs elevated. Has home health nursing, PT and OT. Writes stories and poems & loves to tell them, does artwork. Will watch TV after 6 p.m. Late to rise in morning 11am, light breakfast, help with dressing&hair, in home appointments, light lunch, dinner 7-8 p.m. Nightly bedtime 12 a.m. -1:30 a.m. About the care needs: Friendly, cheerful, caring and compassionate. Mom can be feisty about sitting in recliner legs up! Someone whom understands elderly stages and ages day to day needs. Cooking and meals prepared nothing elaborate but healthy and lower sodium. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.

About who needs care: She is returning home from hip revision surgery (hip replacement of a hip replacement). She is very uncertain on her feet. She can get to a standing position and walk slowly on a walker. She is four weeks out of surgery and going home for first time. She needs someone to fix her meals. Full time for several weeks and then part time. About the care needs: Someone willing to see what needs to be done. Needs someone who is attentive and who is not constantly on her phone either on a call, texting or internet. Able to give her a bath, cook, wash the dishes for one, maybe throw in a load of laundry very occasionally. Someone who loves to visit and talk with her. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
