About who needs care: My grandfather had major surgery on his neck and leg. He is in tremendous pain all the time. I am afraid his leg will give out and he will fall. I need someone to help with basic needs a few days a week, such hygienic tasks. Also in need of basic physical therapy for him. And cooking light meals. Keep him company while he watches TV all day long. I have a 13 month baby and cannot attend to his needs all the time. Please help!
About the care needs: Preferably a strong person who is willing and able to help him in the shower. Take walks with him in the yard. Must be infinitely patient because my grandfather is very stubborn and in denial of his withering condition. If the caregiver talks football and poker its a match made in heaven!
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
