About who needs care: My mom has chronic pain from lumbar stenosis and disc degeneration in her neck making everyday tasks difficult. She loves to read and do puzzles but cooking/clean-up/chores are too hard because she cant stand for very long with back pain.
About the care needs: She should be respectful and patient. She should be someone who enjoys working with the elderly and understand they move at a much slower pace. My mother loves quilting and sewing but has trouble with it now because of hand tremors. She still manages to do some projects for short time spans.
Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
Preference for a caregiver who is female.
