Seeking companion care near Lexington for my mother in her 70s. Errands / Shopping: Potentially picking up groceries or prescriptions. Meal Preparation: Potentially some light cooking, meal preparation, and/or help ordering food. Light Housekeeping: Keeping the place neat and clean. Schedule Details: We are looking to cover hours based on the schedule below:
Monday, March 2nd: 5 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next morning (17 hours)
Tuesday, March 3rd: 5 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next morning (17 hours)
Wednesday, March 4th: 5 p.m. until 10 a.m. the next morning (17 hours)
Thursday, March 5th: 3 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. (5. 5 hours). My mom will be recovering from cell replacement therapy for lymphoma over the next few weeks. The hospital requires someone is with her 24/7 in case she shows any negative side effects of the therapy such as fever, confusion, and/or seizures, so that 911 can be called. We have family members covering most of the days, but we need someone to stay overnight for a few days next week. The caregiver will have their own bedroom and bathroom, and meals will be provided. It's important the caregiver is aware so they can identify any of the negative side effects, but they don't have to be by her side the entire time and can sleep through the night when my mom sleeps as well. Hopefully it will all go smoothly though, thank you!
