Live-in Home Care Needed For My Mother In Danville

Full Time
About who needs care: We are looking for a full time female live in care giver for an 84-year-old woman with Parkinson's in Danville NH. She is mobile. She needs someone to be a companion cook meals give medications take her for walks help her with daily exercise regiments help with showers curl her hair every other day and occasionally getting her on and off the toilet and do laundry. She needs help to get out of her bed at night to use the commode and she usually gets up at least one time during the night. She has a room with (2) twin beds in it so the person who is her caregiver would sleep in the same room to help her when she needs to get out of bed to use the commode at night. She lives in an in-law-suite in a family members home. There is a TV in the bedroom and the living room with cable TV and internet. We prefer that she does not watch the news. She has her own kitchen to prepare meals for her and her own living room and bathroom separate from the main house. We shop once a week for groceries to prepare meals for the week. We would like someone who is patient and if they have worked with patients with Parkinson's that's a plus. A side effect of the Parkinson's is she may think the people on the television are in the room or she may think an object is a person. We need someone who can go with the flow. She loves to participate in activities like games folding clothes opening the mail putting stickers on things and she loves to sing and dance. They say dancing is awesome for Parkinson's patients. She is originally from Poland but speaks English. This is a 7 day a week position. Pay is $100 a day (24-hour period). We do have cameras up because in the past she has fallen and if she does we need to see how she has fallen to know if we need to have her seen by a doctor so the caregiver must be OK with having cameras on. A drivers license is a plus. Only serious candidates inquire. No recruiters no job placement companies just candidates inquire please.
