Daily ADL's Light Housekeeping Laundry Meal Prep and cooking Errands as needed We are a NO lift company and a Non-Medical Company!

Staffing in an assisted living facility: We are there to assist multiple residents at one time. We help the residents with daily living activities. The levels of care needed will vary per client. You will provide ADLS which include the following: using the toilet, sponge bathing, and/or showering, dressing, cooking, serving food, assist with feeding them, moving from a bed to a chair (also called transferring). Not all our clients will need full ADL's. Some are flight risks (elopement) meaning they will walk out the front door and this is a safety issue. Some are fall risks and require hands on using a gait belt, assisting with walking with a walker. No matter the level of care, you are required at ALL times to be alert and oriented. All shifts are awake. We are providing hands on care with the client and interacting with them. Never take your eyes off the client. You will be assigned an area or a list of rooms/clients that you will be responsible for caring for during your shift. **Part of the shift will require housekeeping (mopping floors, wiping kitchen areas down, cleaning wheelchairs) **

You must be Kind, Compassionate and have a lot of patience with our clients. You will need to know or learn how to Meal prep, Cook, Bathe or shower, Laundry, Light Housekeeping etc... You will need to take our clients to appointments, errands as needed. You will need to make sure you complete your daily documentation . Engage with our clients, conversations, activities, games, movies.

Assisting Elderly clients in their own home with the following: Bathing/Shower Toileting Dressing Transfers Light Housekeeping Laundry Meal Preparation/Cooking Errands/Appointments as needed Safety and Supervision at all times Compassion, Caring, and Patience is a MUST

This position will require a trustworthy self motivated able bodied person to manage all aspects of caring for a large home, yard, and 3 small dogs. This person must also have excellent cooking skills and be able to keep ahead of work in need of being done without having to be prompted to get it done. The job requires overnight stays when we travel. This is a full time position and on occasion more than full time. We do not have any children living at home so there are just two people on an average day living here, a husband and wife. We are both in excellent health.
