Premium rates for 2-3 hour shifts available. We are looking for several great caregivers to provide pre-operative transportation and in-home services post-operative to Veterans! A valid DL and your own vehicle required. Mileage from transportation is reimbursed. Duties and Responsibilities Providing companionship and developing caring relationships Cooking meals or assisting with meal preparation Reminding clients to exercise and take medications Shopping and running errands with/for clients Driving/accompanying them to appointments or social events Assisting with light housework Ensuring client safety and monitoring/recording health changes Other Companion Care services, as assigned Personal Care services including: bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility assistance, toileting and incontinence care Benefits Our caregivers are direct employees (not contractors) and we are proud to offer: Competitive pay starting at $14.50 per hour Flexible shifts based on availability Time-and-a-half paid on 11 Holidays Ongoing training at no cost to employee Employee referral bonus program Qualifications and Skills All employees must be able to pass a National Background Check and Drug Test. Assisting Hands Boston Northwest is currently hiring reliable dependable and caring Certified Home Health Aide (HHA)/Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the highest standards of care to join our team! We are looking to hire a FEMALE CNA/HHA immediately to start on 11/7/20 at a $19/hr rate in Acton, MA. The hours will be 9-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. You can also pick up other shifts during the week!! You must be OK with CATS, OK WITH DRIVING client in own car (to run errands, doctors appointments), you must have dementia experience, you must be able to cook/clean. We want someone who is engaging, loving, and will keep the client smiling, talking, and feeling comfortable. You must be a CNA/HHA in Massachusetts, have a valid CPR certificate, and a recent TB test.
