About who needs care: Just home from rehab after a fall with subdural hematoma. Is ambulatory. Has a short arm cast for 4 more weeks on dominant arm. Now with TBI symptoms of decreased memory, impulsive, decreased initiation, odd affect. Was 100% independent 3 weeks ago including driving and managing finances. Some assist with dressing until cast comes off. set up for breakfast and maybe make lunch in fridge? She is not safe to cook on stove, but warming up in microwave should be fine for her. Maybe take to a couple medical appointments. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.

About who needs care: She is partially paralyzed on the right side and now she cannot stand. I would need to get a higher but I could be the second person to help. I would need in the morning for her to be changed, cleaned up and dressed and put in a wheelchair. I would need some time in the afternoon for her to be changed and put back in a wheelchair. I would need a person at night two again change her wipe her up and put her to bed. About the care needs: Mentally she is fine she enjoys talking and reading. I am trying to get her out of a nursing home cuz she would be much rather home with me. My problem is finding someone who would come three times a day for a short while. The only specialized skill would be working the Hoyer. I can do all the cooking cleaning and taking care of her for her other needs. I'm 74 and there's no way I can transfer her from the bed to the wheelchair. Services needed include: feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
