Our Favorite Quilted Vest
Bring an assortment of your favorite fabrics to construct your own eye-catching vest. Basic knowledge of garment making & some sewing skills are necessary.

Supplies needed:
-1 1/2 yd of cotton fabric(an assortment of floral/ geometric/stripe etc.)
-1 1/2 yd of cotton fabric(for lining)
-1 1/2 yd of Pellon iron on Low loft fleece or 100% Bamboo or cotton Batting
-3 yds of wide bias tape(either store bought or make your own)

A lifelong artist, Sandi learned to enjoy sewing at a very young age with her beloved mother, whose creative hands were never still. She revels in the rich medium of fabric , from the vast array of bold hues and patterns to the interplay of textures & stitches-translating its story into beautiful art. Sandi’s art is playful and whimsical. Inspired by family, friends, the beauty of nature & fashion.

Feel free to bring your own specialty/vintage textiles to this class. There will be a mid-day lunch break and there are lots of restaurants within walking distance.

We recommend the Parking Lot at Oak and Central. It's very affordable and a short walk to The Sewing Room.
