In commemoration of the fall harvest, we're learning about the three sisters... a traditional indigenous practice of companion planting. This is a method of growing specific plants in a community rather than rows, because together we grow better!
Students will combine ink and markers, focusing on contrast and form to depict their subject. Exploring the different outcomes of texture and value, we’ll discover how this group of plants can also help each other pop on the page.
Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old.

We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year!
Join us on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday each week... or whenever it's convenient for you! We do the same project each of those days for each week, and then something new for the next week!
Dress for a mess!
We often use acrylic paints, which can be very difficult to remove from clothing.
