Here at The Giggling Pig students will receive a brief history of filmmaking before producing their very own short animated movie.

In today’s digital world, media literacy has never been so important. Learning how to tell stories and produce digital content is a skill set required by us all. Not only will children learn about storytelling, old special effects, and filmmaking, but they will also experience the artistic side of the business, which we at the Giggling Pig continue to nurture and cherish in all our programs.

The class size will be kept very small to ensure proper individual attention. If students finish their films sooner, we will provide extra curricular activities on filmmaking. This course has high costs and we offer at a low price to give every child the opportunity to produce digital content for the screen.

It is our goal to make sure that each child has an opportunity to experience a red-carpet event to celebrate their success as a filmmaker, and we look forward to inviting you back at the end of the year for a celebration of your child’s production.

Each film will be shared electronically within two weeks of the program’s ending. This will give students a chance to upload their film to YouTube, share on social media, or simply enjoy their movie with friends and family at home.
