Studio C sketches have been sweeping the nation on Youtube and BYU TV with their clean family-oriented comedy, and now they come to TCHA! Studio C is a fresh live comedy sketch series that explores the funny side of everyday life. Returning acting students are invited to join this class to learn about sketch comedy, watch some Studio C episodes, and then pick their favorites to rehearse in class. These sketches will be performed at the end of the semester.

Work on your comedic acting skills, and laugh! Now is the “time to laugh!” (Ecc 3:4) It’s good medicine! (Prov 17:22)

Prerequisite: Level 1 theater class with Julie Nelson or tutor approval

Homework: 1 hour per week

Additional costs: a possible $5-15 expense for individual costumes, props, set pieces or supplies
