About

This is an open level class that will move at a faster pace for the more mature student. Students will learn more difficult ballet positions and will have more emphasis on stage presence.

In jazz, students will be introduced to more advanced steps, and will get an introduction to lyrical dance. In addition, students will begin to learn the art of choreography, and will participate in choreographing the lyrical piece. Students will perform ballet, jazz, and lyrical routines in the recital

While this is not a worship dance class, students will learn how we can glorify God through dance in a modest way, and will use Christian, classical music, and classical crossover (e.g. The Piano Guys) music during class and the recital.

Students should wear comfortable, form fitting attire for class. Pink leather ballet shoes (black for boys), black jazz shoes, black tank leotard, pink tights, and black pants are required for the recital. There may be an additional costume fee under $20.

COVID-19 Policy:
Dance classes will continue via Zoom if in-person classes are canceled before the half way point. If in-person classes get canceled after the half way point, dancers can choose if they would like to continue for the second half via Zoom. Prorated refunds will be given to dancers who choose not to participate in Zoom classes after the half way point.
