About

This is an open level class to learn ballet and jazz fundamentals. There will be an emphasis on technique to build a solid dance base, but there will also be an emphasis on fun!

Students will learn how ballet is related to jazz, and will perform a routine in each discipline during the recital. While this is not a worship dance class, students will learn how we can glorify God through dance, and will use Christian, classical music, and classical crossover (e.g. The Piano Guys) music during class and the recital.

Students should wear comfortable, form fitting attire for class. Pink leather ballet shoes (black for boys), black jazz shoes, black tank leotard, pink tights, and black pants are required for the recital. There may be an additional costume fee under $20.
