About
Let’s build a city… and put on a puppet show!
This week, you’ll work together to build a mini city filled with fun places like pizza shops, parks, fire stations, and museums. Everyone will help plan the city and build their own part, using cardboard, blocks, and art materials.
You’ll also make simple puppets—people, animals, or silly characters—who live in the city. Your puppets will have jobs, homes, and stories to tell!
Once the city is built, it’s time to play and pretend. You’ll use your puppets to act out stories like helping a neighbor, visiting the park, or going to the pizza shop. There’s no script—just imagination and teamwork.
At the end of the week, you’ll share your city and perform a short puppet show for families, then take home your puppets and your own buildings.
This week is all about building, pretending, working together, and making new friends while having lots of fun!
Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for a mix of indoor and outdoor play. We also ask you pack a nut free snack and drink. Thank you!
Note: If your child's snack needs refrigeration, please send it with an ice pack.
Please be sure to fill out a 2026 health form for your child, at least two weeks prior to the start of your child's program. You will find the link to the form on the FAQ page and under the SUMMER heading on our website.
