Maureen from Signature Finishes of Maine has partnered with Studio on the Common to host her popular Furniture 101 class! Why is Annie Sloan CHALK PAINT® so popular? Because people love how easily they are able to transform a tired piece of furniture into a beautiful accent piece!
Come to class with a small piece of furniture that you can comfortably fit in the front seat of your car. Maureen will cover step-by-step the methods to transform your small piece of furniture during the class. Learn how to prepare and apply Annie Sloan decorative CHALK PAINT® including: prep techniques, patching holes or rehab if necessary, applying color, distressing and application of the furniture waxes or topcoats to finish your piece. Your piece goes from drab to fab in one day!
Class fee is $125.00.
All brushes, tools and equipment are provided. Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and finishes are sold separately.
We will have a large selection of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and finishes available for purchase on the day of the workshop. Paint can also be ordered in advance to ensure you have your color of choice.
Paint is available in 120ml sample pots ($16) and 1 liter cans ($45).
