4/2 Camp: I've Got the Blues - Blue Jean Papermakingwith Michelle Wilson
Did you know that you can recycle old, worn out blue jeans into handmade paper? In this one-day camp, campers will make unique handmade paper artworks from recycled blue jeans!
The handmade paper process involves water. Campers should wear clothing and shoes that can get wet. Projects will not be dry by the end of camp and will have to be transported while wet to dry at home.
For ages 6-12. Campers should be finished with Kindergarten upon registering.
What to BRING:
- Pack Lunch
- 2 Snacks
What to WEAR:
- "Art" clothes
- Appropriate footwear for the outdoors. (Daily walk to the Ohlone Greenway Park after lunch, weather permitting.)
Emphasis is on what/how we learn, less on perfect product. We attempt to meet all campers at their skill level, beginner or advanced.
