4/1 Camp: Kitchen Chemistry!with Anne Mayoral
From oobleck and slime to elephant toothpaste and canister rockets to bubbles and diet coke geysers, we will explore chemical reactions made from everyday household items in this very hands-on camp. You never know when this practical knowledge will come in handy. Prepare to get dirty and dress for the mess!
For ages 6-12. Campers should be finished with Kindergarten upon registering.
What to BRING:
- Pack Lunch
- 2 Snacks
What to WEAR:
- "Art" clothes
- Appropriate footwear for the outdoors. (Daily walk to the Ohlone Greenway Park after lunch, weather permitting.)
Emphasis is on what/how we learn, less on perfect product. We attempt to meet all campers at their skill level, beginner or advanced.
