About
Who doesn’t love a little sweet treat every once in a while? For this class, we’ll be looking to Wayne Thiebaud and his famous paintings of all things sweet and tasty! Our artists will choose a type of sweet - ice cream, cake, pie, candy…etc - and paint a large painting of their chosen food! We will explore how to use bright and abstract colors to create vibrant toppings and deep shadows typical of Thiebaud’s work. At the end of class, each artist will have a beautiful painted portrait of their favorite sweet treat!
