In this class kids are using dribbling, shooting and passing skills in fun and creative games. Playing games with partners is used to develop teamwork. Scrimmages of 2v2 and 3v3 progress over the season to emphasize the rules of soccer and prepare kids to join a soccer team.

This class is a NON-PARENT PARTICIPATION class. If your child needs some help, you are more than welcome to join them to make them feel comfortable. This helps both your child and the group.

CLASS NOTES
Please arrive 10 minutes early the first day of class to check-in and pick-up gear. This will also give your child the opportunity to meet the coaches and other kids before class begins. Some children need time to warm up to the class. Don’t worry if they start out shy, it is a common reaction.

T-shirts are included in the class fee and will be distributed the first day of class. We like to have all players wear their shirt each week, as it reminds them they are on the same team. SHIN GUARDS are highly recommended for this age group.

WATER BREAK
We take a water break halfway through class. This is just a quick break, please refrain from giving your child snacks.

BONUS: TEAM PHOTO
We take a team photo on the 9th class (2nd to last) of the season and bring a printed copy to the last class. This is a fun way to remember the season.
