Join us for an inspirational and hands-on class all about taking your cordage skills to the next level as we learn to create one of the oldest styles of baskets known to humans. Twined baskets are east to find materials for, simple to weave, incredibly strong and will last a lifetime if properly taken care of. Students will learn all about:

• Harvesting natural materials for cordage making
• Reverse wrapping methods for use in baskets
• Weaving a basket or water bottle from start to finish
• How to make other styles of baskets using the twining technique

This is a great introduction class for anyone interested in the world of basket weaving and primitive earth skills. Be sure and bring a water bottle along that you would like to create a wrap for or you can simply weave a simple basket for use in your next outdoor adventure.
