About

The MOCHA Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program offers 6th–8th graders the chance to develop their art, leadership, and work-readiness skills in a fun and supportive museum environment. CITs gain hands-on experience by assisting MOCHA Teaching Artists and staff during Art Camp—helping with camper supervision, activity setup, and general camp operations. In addition to building leadership and customer service skills, CITs also have dedicated time to create their own art throughout the week.

CIT hours are M-F (Depending on Camp schedule) 9:00am-3:30pm. If CIT requires care after camp, they will transition to the aftercare program (3:30pm-5:30pm) at an additional fee of $25 per day.
