Enjoy painting, drawing, photography, writing poems, etc. at Leona Heights Park! Transportation and Food are PROVIDED! (Campers will be transported from Mocha to Leona Heights and back)

Transportation from MOCHA to the park and back. Please arrive at MOCHA no later than 9am. Campers return by 3:30pm

The Water that Heals our Community, a collaborative 5-day off-site camp at Leona Heights Park that centers the powerful healing, creativity and activism of water. During this expressive experience, young artivists will explore the power of the history of water through meditation, altar building, nature photography, the water cycle, painting, river boat competition and more!

During this exploratory camp experience, young artists and activists will be introduced to the historical power of ancestral indigenous land in Oakland and explore foundational pathways that produce teamwork, social liberation, self-reflection, environmental justice, and meditation through the creative arts.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Full payment is required when booking a CAMP. Cancellation of reservation must be within one (1) week of camp start date to receive full credit to your account for a future event. Cancellations less than one (1) week prior to start of camp will account credit minus a $50 late cancellation fee.
Unless specified as a one (1) day camp, a “camp” is based on the number of days scheduled. These camps cannot be broken down into single day passes.
Requests for credit card refunds must be made 2 weeks prior to the scheduled event and will incur a 15% processing fee. Only account credit options are available if cancellation is made less than 1 week.
