About

ART LAB after school program is an OUTDOOR+STUDIO camp in Golden Gate Park, our garden and the studio from Monday to Thursday during 3 weeks for 12 student maximum per session.

Messy Art Lab provides a creative and open-ended environment where kids can experiment, enjoy the process of making art and bring their ideas to life. Children will work in their individual projects supported by our teachers. ATTENDANCE TIMES ARE FLEXIBLE TO FIT YOUR SCHEDULE.
Children will be able to try a bit of everything at the Lab! We will provide different stations with art invitations they can choose from during the day. Slime making, clay sculpting, experimenting with pour painting, splatter painting, or mixing up fluffy paint, to name a few.

Schedule:
2:30pm: Parent drop-off at Golden Gate Park close to our studio.
2:30-3:45pm: Outdoor Play Time / Nature Art Exploration.
3:45-4:00pm: Arrive from park to Messy Art Lab Studio or Garden (alternative drop-off)
4:00-5:30pm: Art Exploration and individual work.
5:30-6:00pm: Clean Up, Free Play, Pick-up at Messy Art Lab Studio or Garden*.

*We will be using the Studio on Mondays and Tuesdays and the garden on Wednesdays and Thursdays unless it's raining. If the garden is available Monday and Tuesday we will be working outdoors. If working indoors, children will work in their own stations with good ventilations and HEPA filters.
