Messy Art Lab Private Party Plan

Space: 345 Judah Street.

Our 1200 sq sf space has two floors.

First floor: Greeting and seating area

Second Floor: Art Studio

Basic Private Party plan:
-2 hours long.
-30 minutes of calm art activities while guests arrive.
-1 hour for all the messy fun!
-30 minutes for cake and or food.

Art part of the party:

You will be able to use the entire art studio located on the second floor of the space. Our set up consists of several art and sensory stations such as playdough tables, sensory station, paint wall, lightbox with sensory or paint activity, magnet board, sensory table with activities, mixed media and messy paint station. We also have a splatter paint glow in the dark room.

*Optional add on: We will continue the art part of the party with a guided art activity if chosen (see list of add on choices below), and finalize with bubble time.

Optional take home add-ons ($60)

We can experiment with one of the below art projects and take it home.

*recommended for 3 years old children. For 2 years old children we will guide a sensory activity.

Clear container with hand made multicolor playdough (10oz)

­All our activities are developmentally age appropriate and are open-ended enough that even younger or older siblings will enjoy and accomplish them with great success!

­During the art portion of your party, children will cycle through the stations at their own pace. They may choose to only get to two stations, or they might get to all of them twice! While we greatly encourage each child to get to every station, we prefer that everyone experience the party in their own unique way.

You will have a friendly instructor facilitating the art activities at your party.

Messy Art Lab parties include all the preparation of art supplies made in the studio, regular non-toxic art supplies, set up, smocks, and clean up.

Please let us know if you expect that there will be guests who might need special assistance. Having this information in advance will help us run the party more smoothly, and ensure that your guests are taken care of.

Decorations!!!

-You can arrive 15 minutes before your party starts to set up if needed.

-The studio will be fully decorated with rainbow flags, banners, balloons and unicorns. You can also bring/replace any decoration of your preference.

COVID precautions:

-We encourage drop-off guests when possible to limit the amount of people and traffic within the studio space.

-Vaccination records will be required for all eligible individuals.

-Everyone will be required to wear a face mask at all times when at Messy Art Lab.

-Everyone will have their temperature taken (with a contactless thermometer) before they enter.

-Hand sanitizer will be available on each station. We will ask everyone to have clean and sanitized hands before touching any shared material.

Reservation & Cancellation Policy:

-Temperature and vaccination records for eligible individuals will be checked at arrival.
-At least one caregiver must attend and stay with the group of children.
-Guests need to sign our waiver. Please make sure to share this link.

-If your session exceeds the scheduled hours or materials are treated carelessly after a warning, you will be invoiced for the additional cost/time.

If you need to cancel your party:
All enrollment fees include a non-refundable deposit of 5%.
If the party is cancelled prior to two (2) weeks of the session’s start date, a refund of the enrollment fee, minus the 5% non-refundable deposit will be issued.
If the party is cancelled within two (2) weeks of the session’s start date, there will be no refund issued.
-Reservations are transferable.

ATTENTION - BUNDLE UP!

We are keeping windows and doors open to increase ventilation in our studio.
Please bring an extra pair of warm socks or slippers for the kids! We don't wear shoes inside to keep it as clean as possible. We will provide shoe cover for adults.
