Come spend Monday mornings at JAMaROO with this Art and Music class combo! Arrive as early at 9:15 to explore the play space and get settled in, then engage in art and music activities from 9:30-10:00 followed by music & movement from 10:15-10:45, ending with an additional 15 minutes of open play from 10:45-11am!
9:30-10:00 Art & Storytime
Join us for Art & Storytime and save the mess for us! Our art classes have been created to work on fostering all five key areas of child development: Cognition, Speech and Language, Social/Emotional, Fine Motor and Gross Motor development. In class we'll explore textures, colors and shapes through different forms of art media while using descriptive language to help foster speech and language development. We will also use music and storytelling to spark your child's imagination and curiosity!
10:15-10:45 Music & Movement
Our music classes have been created to work on fostering all five key areas of child development: Cognition, Speech and Language, Social/Emotional, Fine Motor and Gross Motor development. In class we'll sing familiar songs and also learn some new ones, many of which are original JAMaROO Kids songs created by our very own team! Our class songs will focus on building foundational language skills such as basic vocabulary, simple counting skills, and becoming familiar with the alphabet! Each month our curriculum will change to ensure children stay engaged and excited about class and are always learning something new while providing them with enough repetition to master new skills and vocabulary.
15-MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together in the JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class and the following class. Thank you for your cooperation!
Throughout this session we will focus on Ocean Animals, Transportation, and Animals on the Farm! This is an 8-week session for Tuesday-Friday classes, and a 7-week session for Monday classes.
Important dates:
No class on Monday September 1st (Labor Day)
**NOTE: You are NOT charged for classes that fall on weeks when we have closures in your session package**
Refunds
We do not offer refunds. If for any reason JAMaROO Kids has to cancel the class due to an emergency - we will credit you for the class or book a makeup class.
Make- ups:
We are now allowing two make-ups for missed classes per session. Your make-up classes must be arranged by the office and will be limited to the classes we have space in. Make-up classes do not carry over from one session to the next.
SIBLING DISCOUNT
Please note that the sibling discount is reserved to siblings/children residing at the same address. It is not valid for other arrangements (i.e Nanny Shares). We also require legal guardians/parents to register their children for emergency contact and liability reasons. Please do not have nannies/caregivers register on your behalf.
JAMaROO Kids Referral Program
If you register for a session, you can take advantage of our Referral Program any time during the session! Bring a new friend who has never attended a JAMaROO Kids class to class with you for FREE! If they register for the session after, we will add a credit for one class to your account, to be used toward a future class or session purchase.
Please note: This offer includes one Free Drop-in per child in the guest family.
