Enter the world of glaze chemistry and learn how to understand recipes, mix, test, and develop your own unique glaze palette. This class will experiment with a variety of glaze tests through independent and group projects. Students will also learn more about firing temperatures and processes, glaze defects and remedies, and how to stay safe while working with raw materials.

-Line blend
-Triaxial Blend
-Special Glaze- Crawl, Crater, Crackle
-Kiln Load and program,

This class comes with pre-made test tiles and use of glaze chemistry during class as directed by Frenchy. This class does not provide clay.

Cloth Particulate mask, or Rubber particulate mask will be required during class. Recommended you bring a notebook the first class.
