GIGIL's On Demand STEM Kits are meant to create a fun learning experience from home. Our On Demand STEM Kits are an ideal alternative to in-person summer camps. These kits are also a great addition for homeschooling families. Each lesson is taught by a California credentialed teacher using core education standards.

In this STEM Kit students will discover the 5 systems of our Earth! They’ll learn about extreme weather conditions and climate change across the world and how it affects our land.

Activity #1: This kit begins with rain and tornadoes! How can we recreate this weather pattern?

Activity #2: Our junior scientists will learn the power of weather vanes! Students will create their own wind vanes to determine the direction the wind is blowing.

Activity #3: The different surfaces of the earth have their own unique characteristics. Students will compare and contrast the different patterns of earth surfaces.

Activity #4: Fun with fossils! Let’s discover how we can use fossil evidence to see the changes Earth’s landscape has made over time!

Activity #5: Valleys, peaks and canyons! Students will conduct their own canyons from sustainable materials!

On rare occasions adults may need to supply small portions of liquids or other common household items (i.e. large mixing bowl) for use.
