Cherie Sola is from Colorado and studied music at the University of Colorado at Denver. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles where she worked in the entertainment field for over 10 years, before starting her own business. Cherie loves all things creative and has studied acting, painting, and dance. Aside from creating songs, Cherie writes children books and designs apparel all based on her favorite thing, music! She believes that music provides the perfect framework to explore genres and learn about any topic imaginable. Cherie has completed coursework in early childhood development and has worked with babies to elementary aged children. She plays guitar, violin, and piano and sings in two bands. Cherie loves to dance and you can always find her sliding around her house in her socks.

Brazilian-born Eliana Moreira (Lana), as she likes to put it, was born dancing. The night of her birth, her mother had been out dancing in São Paulo to the rhythms of samba.

For 21 years, Lana has studied and taught all forms & styles of yoga, meditation, breathing techniques and pilates. She is passionate about energetic anatomy, mantras, herbalism, Ayurveda, nutrition and cooking — all of which greatly inform her teachings.

Lana is also an expressive dancer and choreographer. Her influences are Alvin Ailey, Martha Graham, Pina Bausch, Hip Hop street dancing, and the rhythmic drumming of Brazil. She dances Samba, Hip Hop, Afro Reggae, West African and Brazilian folkloric dance which inspire her creative, free-style, fun dance classes integrated with the wisdom of yoga.

As a teacher, Lana focuses on personalizing practices, even in class settings! Her passion as a teacher is to be a guide; to foster the student's deepening intimacy with themselves, and to inspire skillful self-practice. Her work is featured in the first medical textbook on yoga therapy, The Principles and Practice of Yoga in Health Care (Handspring Publishing, 2016).

As busy mamas, we are always putting everyone around us first. We spend so much time taking care of everyone else, that we often neglect ourselves and any type of self care. I love helping women find a way to fit in self care time through my business Beauty Redefined and through Rodan + Fields, by getting the best skin of your adult life, and gorgeous lashes that are 100% your own. Even just 5 minutes a day can really do so much for our confidence and self esteem, and make a difference in being our best self. My passion is empowering women and showing them how to go after more in life and never settle for less than they deserve or want out of life. Through passion and purpose we can live a life we design and love.

Lindsey was born in St. Louis then lived in Minneapolis, Chicago and San Diego before settling in Long Beach, CA. She studied Dance in High School and College, then worked in sales for 10 years before falling in love with yoga and escaping to India to study yoga and meditation. Lindsey currently offers yoga classes, meditation classes and emotional blockage therapy. Her passions include surfing, snowboarding, wakeboarding, paddleboarding, fishing, snorkeling, hiking, cooking vegan, gardening, jewelry, constellations, moon cycles, crystals, sound bowls, essential oil therapy, and Ayurveda. Her favorite things in life are yoga, meditation, my Aussie puppy, snowboarding, surfing, Full Moons, making jewelry, and travel.

Lindsey trained to be a yoga and meditation instructor in Rishikesh, India next to the Ganga River near the Himalayan Mountains. Her specialties include traditional Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Pranayama and various meditation techniques. Her experience has led her to become talented in teaching beginners to meditate.

Lindsey's favorite asana is child’s pose because she offers an adjustment in this position that feels nice on the back and thighs.

Radiant Femme was born out of a desire for me to help others - namely women - live their best lives. I was blessed to be able to stay at home after my children were born while doing a few odd jobs here and there to help with our income. It was during the first year of my second child’s life that I realized that, though I was super grateful for getting to stay at home with my kids, I had lost parts of myself. I was so busy giving to my children that I forgot to care for myself. I noticed myself losing patience and feeling upset and dissatisfied. I truly thought my first priority had to be my children and it was making me miserable.

So, I started putting myself first and doing little things that were good for me and it started changing my life. Self-care had almost been a foreign word up until that point. I was at a loss of what I wanted to do with my life – apart from be a mom and a wife. All I knew was I wanted to help other women. So, I made a list of things I wanted to do and one of those was Reiki. I took a Reiki course and I fell in love with it and what it can do for people. I love how energy healing goes hand in hand with the Intuitive practice. I love, when I am being a channel for energy and sending it to my clients, how I can also intuitively be shown what areas in their life, body and soul need healing and how my client can take measures into their own hands to help heal themselves. It. Is. Truly. Amazing. I feel SO incredibly blessed to get to do this and see the healing happen! It is a gift and I love love love to get to give the gift of Reiki to others.

It was also during this time that I started thinking about all the mamas in my life. A pattern that I kept on seeing emerge was that my friends were doing all this work to prepare for their birth and then feeling completely unprepared for what came after - the whirlwind of the postpartum world (the fourth trimester). There were so many things they (and I) didn’t know and many of them talked about feeling the very heavy baby blues and postpartum depression. My heart was SO with them. I completely understood and related to where they were coming from because that was my story as well. I wanted to help other mamas through those times. I wanted to be a system of support. I wanted other mamas to know they weren’t alone.

That is when I learned about Postpartum Doulas and I discovered that they do exactly what I wanted to do - they help mamas through the 4th trimester. There was actually a job for exactly what I wanted to do! AMAZING! And so, I started my coursework through Birth Arts International to become a Certified Postpartum Doula. At first glance, the two fields may not seem to have too much to do with each other but actually, they are very closely related and compatible. In each, I get to help other people (mostly women) to heal, to nurture themselves, to take care of themselves and to live their best lives. I feel blessed every single day to get to do this work.

Rebecca Kasputis is a Group Fitness Instructor. She is super passionate about using exercise to help you live healthy, happy, and pain-free! Rebecca is currently a Kinesiology - Exercise Science major at CSULB and working towards becoming a Chiropractor in the future. In addition to exercise, Rebecca loves fashion, photography, and anything outdoors! Robin Giesen is a Licenced Marriage and Family Therapist and Bringing Baby Home Educator practicing in Long Beach, Ca who specializes in the treatment of post-partum mood disorders and couples counseling for expectant and new parents. Robin completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Tulane University, her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University and post graduate work at Newport Psychoanalytic Institute where she received her certificate in Dynamic Psychotherapy.

Robin has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health clinics, the Los Alamitos and Brea school districts, and group and private practices. Today Robin’s office is located in Bixby Knolls.

Robin has received specialized trained in Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Interpersonal psychotherapy models and draws from these models to assist clients in meeting their goals. She has also received additional training in couples counseling from the Gottman Institute.

After the birth of Robin’s first child she developed postpartum anxiety. This experience as well as the profound and life changing experience of becoming a mother have inspired her to focus much of her clinical training and work on hopeful, expecting and current mothers and their families.

Robin has completed advance maternal mental health training thru Postpartum Support International, the Seleni Institute and Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicines Asher Center for the Study and Treatment of Depressive Disorders.

Roxanna Fitzgerald is a Southern California resident, a Mom of two boys and wife to a public school music teacher. Ms. Roxanna holds a B.A. in Finance from California State University, Long Beach and has over 14 years of experience in the corporate financial industry. In September 2015, Ms. Roxanna transitioned to a full-time stay at home mom.

"I was raised in a Spanish only household. English is my second language. When I had my first baby, I knew without a doubt that I wanted my son to speak Spanish. However, the reality soon sank in that it was not going to be as easy as I thought. My husband doesn’t speak fluent Spanish, kids at the playground mostly speak English and all the mommy and me classes were taught in English. So how was I going to maintain the language so near and dear to me when I lived in a predominately English environment? The answer was to create that environment myself."

Wing (Yoyo) pursued a professional career as an artist, focusing on Illustration and Graphic Design working with different mediums creating analog and digital artworks.
While attending Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, Wing (Yoyo) was very much inspired by the art of her teachers and classmates learning the right attitude and the responsibility as being an artist.
Wing’s (Yoyo) work since then has included illustrations for children’s books, promotional artwork for festivals and events, graphic art for businesses and commission paintings.

“Art is not just something that I do, is a huge part of who I am. Since I was a kid, I loved to doodle everything ...everything I saw and see. As I got older, people around me suggested I take different career path; nevertheless, I never considered anything other than being an artist, it is who I am.”

Art is not just a pretty picture to display on the refrigerator, or crafts that will end up in a memory box but the toolbox of accumulated knowledge that allows the person to create independently.
Art is the visual form of expressing emotions and passions and has facilitated the experience of learning for different cultures throughout history.
Through her paintings of dancers and musicians Wing (Yoyo) expresses her love for the Flamenco rhythms, as a dancer herself, and gypsy way of life while honoring all the dances around the world as well.
