About

Stories have been a primary source of information and entertainment for a millennium--and they’re told in so many ways! How stories evolve as they move from a script to a staged production is the focus of this course. We consider how we show-and-tell stories through writing, acting, costumes, and props. We work together to create characters through voice, movement, and music to bring the stories alive on stage. Throughout the course, we collaborate with classmates as we explore a variety of theatrical forms and experiences including improv!

This is a technique class that does not result in a production.

Classes begin Monday, September 1 (Labor Day)
Final Class is Monday, November 17 (In Class Presentation - More Details to Follow)
