Tennis & Swim Camp is for Children entering 3rd - 6th Grade as of Fall 2019

Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont and support from the USTA NorCal, offers the H.I.T.S. tennis program combing the challenge and fun of playing tennis with the educational and character-building aspects of team sports. The program provides campers a cooperative team environment to foster sportsmanship, integrity, camaraderie, responsibility, positive self-esteem and social skills. All participants receive a H.I.T.S. t-shirt, wristband, ball, certificate, players/parents manual and more!!!

Campers meet at Barrett Community Center Room C for group time and a healthy snack, then walk to the Carlmont High School tennis courts for 1½ hour of tennis instruction. After tennis, campers eat lunch, play games led by Footsteps Staff, and enjoy recreational swim at Carlmont High School Pool. After swim, camp walks back to Barrett Community Center around 3:00 PM for afternoon. Campers may bring their own tennis racquets or use Footsteps’ equipment.
