Our Fine Art Foundations class is designed for kids who are ready to deepen their artistic skills and explore more advanced concepts. In this structured, skill-building series, young artists learn core visual art principles—like color theory, composition, and the difference between abstract and representational art—while creating original works in painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, and mixed media. Students practice techniques such as blending, layering, and drawing from observation, and are introduced to a wide range of fine art materials including charcoal, watercolor pencils, pastels, and clay.

Each session encourages creative problem-solving, artistic expression, and confidence as students take on new challenges and refine their technique. By the end of the series, artists will proudly take home 4 or more finished artworks that reflect their growth and creative voice.
