About

LEGO MINDSTORMS helps you bring technology, science and computer programming to life with hands-on, project-based STEM learning using best-in-class robotics solutions. Students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with emphasis on team work. Students will work in small groups of 3 or 4, with opportunity for individual hands on experience with coding.

Students will learn to program and test autonomous robots that can complete complex tasks and perform missions that are space themed. The EV3 robot is the same used in First Lego League, and the missions are similar. Lessons will include several ways to program the robot to complete the missions using medium and large motors, light/color sensor, ultrasonic sensor, and more.

All equipment and materials will be provided and are for use in-class only.

* A minimum number of students required in order to hold this session.
