Winter Semester (January-Mid March)

This class is for students beginning their journey in watercolor painting. Students learn to use elements and principles of design to create full, functional, and stylish compositions.

Through the step by step guidance of an instructor students are encouraged to develop their own style and ideas while exploring painting techniques specific to watercolor paint.

Classes are limited in size, so sign up today!

Materials are not provided for this class.

Recommended Supplies:
*Graphite Pencil Set
*Kneaded eraser
*Monozero Eraser
*Arches Cold Press Watercolor paper 9x12
*Watercolor paints (suggested colors):
Yellow Ochre, Ultramarine Blue, Pthalo Blue, Cadmium Yellow Light, Payne's Gray, Vandyke Brown, Alizarin Crimson, Sap Green, Cadmium Red, Burnt Sienna
*Palette with lid ( Mijello is great)
*Plexiglass sheet (can be found at Home Depot 11x14)
*Brushes
*Masking or Painters tape
