About

Create a large-scale painting, up to 24"x 36", incorporating dramatic texture and dynamic lighting, You will design and execute an original, textured landscape, receiving individual attention and expert tips on painting large-scale works. You will learn mixed media techniques, combining acrylic and texture to achieve archival-quality results. You will recieve personalized guidance and demonstrate techniques to enhance your composition.

Materials Required for the Project:

- Large flat brush (2 inches)
- Medium round brush (#14 or larger)
- Small detail brush
- Unfinished Cradled Wood Panels for Painting, 12x24 inch
- Palette knives (for both painting and color mixing purposes)
- Acrylic Retarder
- Baby wipes, gloves, and paper towels

Acrylic Color suggested
- Cobalt blue
- Phthalo green
- White paint
- Pyrrole Red
- Cadmium light yellow

Textural materials will be provided by the instructor.
