We are looking for 4-6 hours of companion care for my 41-year-old brother. He has a neuromuscular disorder that limits his ability to perform fine motor tasks such as feeding himself, brushing his teeth, writing, typing, etc. It also affects his vocal chords making it extremely difficult for him to speak. It takes him a very long time to speak. We are looking for somebody with patience to listen to him. He lives in an assisted living facility and gets most of his needs met, but has limited personal interactions and has no transportation to leave the facility. He would like somebody to take him out once or twice a week to go to the gym, eat lunch, doctor's appointments, etc. Any eating activities will require full feeding assistance. An ideal candidate could communicate with doctor's offices and have a flexible schedule.
