About Samantha

As a career nanny, I am passionate about, dedicated to, and emotionally invested in my job. I provide highly individualized care based on the family's values and the child's needs & interests; I am never the same nanny twice. I believe children have an innate yearning to learn and be challenged; I strive to facilitate that inquisitive nature. Past focuses have included: mindfulness, yoga, cooking, foreign language exposure, nature immersion, art appreciation, mythology, sensory experiences, arts and crafts, poetry, literature, and general academics. I have a love of nature that I enjoy incorporating into my care and have forest school teacher training. I enjoy outings to libraries, museums, playgrounds, hiking trips, & farmers markets. I have experience with newborns as young as 3 weeks to teenagers up to 14, international families, multiples, children with special needs, dietary restrictions, collaborating with therapists, and positive discipline.
