I have over 20 years of experience caring for babies/toddlers/children of all ages. I started working with children in college, when I got my BA in Theater Education with a Teaching Certificate in Performing Arts (music/visual arts/drama). I love providing childcare, gratefully giving all my attention and patience to your child/children. I am trained in Compassionate Communication (NVC). 15 years ago, I founded an organization called Practical Altruism, which is a care-giving collaborative that offers childcare and elder care with the spirit of selfless service and mindfulness. I am proud to be someone whom you can put 100% of your faith into. I know that is not easy to find. I am a mother to an 11 years old daughter with special needs related to ADHD. I am available regularly part-time and just once in a while, if that's what you need.

I am happy to recommend Rachel for a childcare position. She provided after school care to our daughter for one school year. She was reliable and very trustworthy. We did not need to worry about anything when our daughter was in her care. Additionally, our daughter grew to love Rachel and her family. It was nice to see her blossom under Rachel's care.
